16" length; 1.5" - 2.0" threads with o-rings and blow out hole in the top. Makes blowing the lines easier!
Winter plugs are used to plug a skimmer, and act as a combination plug & skimmer bottle to prevent damage to your skimmer caused by pool water or rain water freezing in the pool skimmer during the winter. We recommend wrapping the threads of your winter plug with teflon tape to ensure a tight seal when threading it into your skimmer. This model has the blowout plug.

TO USE AS A GIZZMO:
THE ULTRA GIZZMO INCLUDES A PLUG INSERTED IN THE TOP. BEFORE USE, CHECK THAT THE PLUG IS COMPLETELY INSTALLED BY PRESSING FIRMLY INTO THE TOP OPENING.
1.) FOLLOW STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR WINTERIZING SWIMMING POOL.
2.) AFTER POOL WATER LEVEL IS BELOW SKIMMER, SCREW THE ULTRA GIZZMO INTO EITHER 1 1/2" OR 2" THREADS UNTIL SECURELY SEATED IN SKIMMER.

TO USE AS A SUCTION LINE BLOWOUT TUBE:
THE ULTRA GIZZMO INCLUDES A PLUG INSERTED IN THE TOP. BEFORE USE, CAREFULLY PRY PLUG FREE FROM TOP OPENING.
1.) SCREW ULTRA GIZZMO INTO EITHER 1 1/2" OR 2" THREADS UNTIL SECURELY SEATED IN SKIMMER.
2.) FOLLOW STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR BLOWING OUT AND WINTERIZING LINES.
3.) CLOSE TOP OF BLOWOUT TUBE BY INSERTING PLUG AND PRESSING FIRMLY INTO PLACE.

THE AIR CUSHION INSIDE THE ULTRA GIZZMO IS DESIGNED TO PROTECT SKIMMERS BY ABSORBING THE EXPANSION OF WINTER FREEZE-UP.
